One can change one's physical conditions as well as mental and emotional states by suggesting to one's subconscious mind the desired transformation and by constructing a mental picture, contemplating and projecting same into the realms of subconsciousness. As James Allen puts it: Mind is the master-power that moulds and makes, and man is mind and ever more he takes. The tool of thought and, shaping what he wills, Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills: He thinks in secret and it comes to pass; "Environment is but his looking-glass."
